Honor Society UpdatesMember-Get-A-Member Campaign Continues The Member-Get-A-Member campaign has begun for the 2008-09 year, and members are encouraged to recommend their friends and colleagues to join the honor society as a nurse leader. The new campaign began in October, and since then, 153 honor society members have referred more than 180 nurse leaders for membership. Members participating in the campaign have the chance to win prizes. Participating members will receive an honor society static sticker, recognition on the honor society's Web site and recognition at either the biennial convention or Leadership Academy. Members who make referrals are entered into quarterly drawings to win a US $50 gift card. Members whose referrals result in an induction are entered in a grand prize drawing worth US $250.New Members-Only Benefits New members-only FREE continuing education credits are available on the honor society's Web site, www.nursingsociety.edu/Education, by clicking on "Members Only." The four courses can earn up to 68 credit hours, and are a US $300 value! No matter your specialty, these courses will give you insight on how to build stronger teams, live a more balanced life and deal with difficult personalities - skills everyone can use.Honoring Carol J.
